BOCCIA LEAGUE

Plasgwyn Participation in Dementia Actif Gwynedd Boccia League

Residents of Plasgwyn and Bodawen care homes have proudly participated in the Dementia Actif Gwynedd Boccia League, which began on 7th February 2025. This wonderful initiative provides an opportunity for residents to stay active, engage socially, and enjoyed the game in a supportive and friendly environment. 

Boccia is an inclusive and accessible sport that encourage teamwork, strategy and fun. By participating  in the league, residents not only keep their bodies and mind active but also build friendship and share joyful moment. The league is all about enjoyment and participation, and sense of community that comes from playing together.
