Carol Singing Brings Everyone Together at Bodawen

Bodawen Care Home recently enjoyed a warm and festive atmosphere with a carol singing session led by the Activities and Wellbeing Co-ordinator.

Specially made carol books were prepared for the session, created in both Welsh and English, ensuring everyone could take part confidently and inclusively. The books were warmly received by residents, supporting accessibility and a strong connection to language and tradition.

Residents and staff joined together to sing traditional Christmas carols, accompanied by piano playing from the Activities Co-ordinator, filling the home with festive music. The session created a strong sense of togetherness, joy and shared celebration.

The activity supported residents’ emotional and social wellbeing, encouraging participation, memory recall and the sharing of a meaningful experience together.

Bodawen continues to organise seasonal activities that promote wellbeing, inclusion and enjoyment for both residents and staff.
