Celebrating St. David's Day

The residents of Plasgwyn came together with joy and enthusiasm to celebrate St. David's Day, embracing creativity and tradition through Art and Craft workshop. The community was filled with excitement as we engaged in making handcrafted daffodils, decorating with Welsh flags and hanging Virant bunting to honour the special occasion.

Everywhere we looked, the bright yellow of daffodils symbolized our love for Wales. Using paper, paint and various craft material, we carefully crafted and decorated these beloved flowers, filling homes, community space. The Welsh flag proudly adorned our surrounding, fluttering alongside beautifully arranged bunting in red, green and white. As we decorated together, laughter and happiness filled the air.

This St. David's Day decoration was more than just a celebration - it was a day of creativity, unity and joy. Through our residents' collective efforts in art and craft, we not only honour our heritage but also strengthened the bond within our community. As the day ended, we stood back and admired our work, proud of the colourful and heartfelt tribute we had created for Wales and beloved patron saint.
