Residents Enjoy Creative Flower Arranging at Bodawen Nursing Home
Residents at Bodawen Nursing Home recently took part in a relaxing and creative flower-arranging activity, thanks to generous donations of fresh flowers.
The donated blooms were used by residents to create their own beautiful arrangements, carefully selecting colours and styles before placing them into vases. The activity provided an enjoyable opportunity for residents to express their creativity, share ideas and reminisce while working together in a calm and friendly setting.
Once the arrangements were complete, a vase was placed in each resident’s room, ensuring everyone could enjoy the vibrant sight and gentle fragrance of fresh flowers throughout the day. The flowers brought colour, warmth and a natural sense of wellbeing into the home, brightening rooms and lifting spirits.
Staff at Bodawen Nursing Home highlighted the positive impact the activity had on residents, noting how flower arranging encouraged conversation, engagement and relaxation. The home would like to thank those who kindly donated the flowers, helping to create a meaningful experience that was enjoyed by all.
Bodawen Nursing Home continues to provide enriching activities that support residents’ wellbeing and bring simple pleasures into everyday life.
