Joyful Dementia Actif Boccia Christmas Party at Glaslyn Leisure Centre

Bodawen Care Home recently hosted a very special festive event with its Dementia Actif Boccia Christmas Party, bringing residents, friends and the local community together to celebrate the season.

The party was filled with fun activities, with everyone dressing up in festive outfits and taking part in Dementia Actif boccia games, creating an inclusive and joyful atmosphere. Residents and guests also enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch, shared in great company.

Live music and dancing added to the celebrations, with familiar tunes bringing back happy memories for many residents. Another highlight of the day was a performance by a local school, with children singing Christmas songs and spreading festive cheer throughout the home.

The event also provided a valuable opportunity for residents to reconnect with old friends, creating meaningful and heart-warming moments for all involved. To round off the celebrations, everyone enjoyed Christmas crackers, adding laughter and fun to the day.
