Sunshine and Song at Bodawen Nursing Home Garden Party

Bodawen Nursing Home recently hosted a joyful garden party, bringing together residents, friends and family for a memorable afternoon of celebration, laughter and community spirit.

Held in the sunshine within the home’s garden, the event featured a delicious buffet enjoyed by all, alongside a variety of games and activities. A popular tombola, bake sale and raffle added to the fun, with residents and guests alike taking part and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

Live music was provided by Karen Owen, who performed a wonderful mix of Welsh and English songs. Her performance encouraged plenty of singing along and dancing, with residents, family members and staff joining together on the dance floor to make the most of the warm weather and uplifting music.

The garden was filled with smiles and conversation as friends and family spent quality time with loved ones, creating special memories in a relaxed and festive setting. The event highlighted the strong sense of community at Bodawen and the importance of shared experiences for residents’ wellbeing.
