Spring Has Sprung at Bodawen Nursing Home

Bodawen Nursing Home joyfully welcomed the season of renewal with a vibrant “Spring Has Sprung” celebration that brought colour, creativity, and community spirit to residents and staff alike.

To mark the arrival of spring and the Easter season, residents embraced their artistic sides by painting cheerful daffodil decorations. These handmade creations were proudly displayed in the lounge, adding a warm and welcoming touch of springtime sunshine to the home.

The Easter festivities continued with an exciting Easter Egg Hunt, where residents were invited to explore the home and uncover hidden Easter eggs. Every egg found meant a sweet treat to take home – and plenty of fun along the way!

A playful egg and spoon race (with bowls for added laughter and accessibility) brought out the competitive spirit, with lots of encouragement and joy filling the room. Residents also gathered to admire our beautiful Easter hamper for our Easter raffle, which families and staff were encouraged to try to win, and enjoyed a selection of delicious Easter-themed cakes and hot cross buns lovingly prepared by the kitchen team.
