Ysgol Hafod Lon Brings Festive Joy to Bodawen Nursing Home

Residents at Bodawen Nursing Home were delighted to welcome pupils from Ysgol Hafod Lon on 17 December 2025, as they visited to spread Christmas cheer by singing festive carols.

The visit created a lively and heart-warming atmosphere, with residents actively interacting with the children, joining in with the singing, dancing along to the music, and enjoying friendly conversations. The familiar carols encouraged shared laughter and brought back fond memories for many residents.

To thank the pupils for their wonderful performance, residents at Bodawen presented the children with Christmas gifts, which were gratefully received and added to the spirit of kindness and generosity.

The visit was a memorable occasion for everyone involved and highlighted the importance of intergenerational connections in enriching life at Bodawen Nursing Home, particularly during the festive season.

The residents also hand made a welcoming poster for the students of Ysgol Hafod Lon.
