International Tea Day Celebration At Cariad Care Home - Plasgwyn

To celebrate International Tea Day on 21 May.  We have hosted a delightful event filled with laughter and learning and of course Tea and Cup Cakes. The day began with residents gathering around beautifully set tea tables, complete with variety of teas. Offering a sensory experience of different flavours and aromas. As tea was served, residents enjoyed a fun and engaging tea related quiz. Questions ranged from history of tea to different types of tea and their origins, Sparkling lively discussion and friendly competition. The quiz not only provided entertainment but also an opportunity to share their own Teatime Stories and Traditions. This heartfelt exchange enriched the event, fostering a deeper sense of connection with each other.

Throughout the event, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, encouraging social interaction, and creating a sense of community and lot of fun together. The event concluded with a toast to health and happiness, honouring the global tradition of tea drinking and its significance in bringing people together.

Our international tea day celebration was a resounding success, leaving everyone with fond memories.
