Sensory Touch Activity

Residents took part in a sensory touch activity designed to encourage sensory stimulation, curiosity and engagement. Different textures and sensory items were introduced, allowing residents to explore them through touch and identify how each one felt. Residents were encouraged to handle and explore the items at their own pace with support provided where needed.  

Residents enjoyed taking part and were interested in exploring the different textures. The activity created opportunities for conversation, interaction and enjoyment while supporting sensory awareness and overall wellbeing.
